There are a few changes from the Draft version reflecting range availability.  New for 2008, our "Team Practice Matches" begin
Sunday 13 April. These are planned primarily as practice matches.  Format will be two man teams to allow coaching: if you don't have a team we will squad teams at signup. We will use the Perry NRA week
format, shooting 3 80-round "matches" over the four planned practice dates (66 rounds per practice). Service or match rifle. We hope these will be a good opportunity for shooters to practice, try new techniques, coach and learn before Perry! Practice session dates are 13 April, 27 April, 15 June, and 29 June.
Long Range matches are planned as 800-900-1000 yards, 15 shots for
record at each yardage ("Palma" format). We tried this format for the State Championships last year and it was very well received.
Long Range Dates are 11 May (Sunday), 24-25 May (Memorial Day Weekend), 21 June (Saturday), and 20 July (Saturday).
