What Information do you need for the Gate List?
Name, address, birth date, and rifle info—type, caliber, and serial number—for any weapon you might bring on base. If you have an NRA number and classification please include them so I can complete your entry in the computer.
I’m new to Highpower. Can I come out to observe?
Absolutely—we encourage folks to come out and observe, ask questions, learn before they attempt to shoot a match. I need your information for the gate list. You will still need to get a vehicle pass from Range Control to come down to the range.
What if I have one rifle on the list, but I want to bring a different rifle to shoot?
You can send a list of any firearms you might bring to a match. I can keep a list of firearms for each shooter in the “master” data base
Do I have to send this information EVERY time I want to shoot?
No, I can keep your information in the CIHPRS computer for the season. I compile the gate roster for each match from the information in our database. As long as your information has not changed you don’t need to resubmit it each time.
I sent information for my match rifle but now I’d like to shoot my garand. Can I switch?
No. Once the gate list is sent in it’s final for that match—no changes.
